Hunting/Fishing
On our farm we have chickens; ducks, geese, geanies, pigs, cattle, miniature donkeys, cats, & Bob, our friendly farm dog. We have a nearby farm pond for fishing and paddle boating. We have trails to walk or ride. We have 4-wheelers available. We have orchards and garden in season. Whole line of antique farm machinery and modern farm machinery. We are very reasonably priced at $100 for the whole family.
Open October 1st to January 10th. We offer fully guided whitetail deer, pheasant, and turkey hunts.
Draco Hill Nature Farm offers free events all season such as a Picnic in the Prairie, meteor watching parties, tastings of Asian pears, honeyberries and chestnuts, foraging expeditions and more. Farm produce available for sale.

We are a native plant and grass nursery. We grow native forbs and grasses to be harvested for resale, we also have a greenhouse with plants for sale. We have a native prairie, wetland, ponds, native pasture and several varieties of plantings.
Whiterock Conservancy is a 5,500 acre land trust and non profit entity located near Coon Rapids, IA. Whiterock has 3 campgrounds, 40 miles of trails and 6 farmhouses available for lodging. Whiterock has 12 fishing ponds on its property and also does float trips on 7 miles of the Middle Raccoon River. Whiterock is also actively engaged in farming and livestock raising on its land. It is also a great place to enjoy natural landscapes and forests.
