Visit Iowa Farms is a signature program of the Farm, Food and Enterprise Development Program through Iowa State University Extension and Outreach. This program works with state agencies to educate Iowans on agritourism and provide resources to agritourism producers. We encourage all Iowa agritourism producers to list their destinations on our website; which serves as a search tool for agritourism destinations around the state.

Calyx Creek Lavender and Lodging
Stephanie and Taylor Getting are the proud owners of Calyx Creek Lavender and Lodging, nestled in the heart of Oxford, Iowa. Since 2022, the couple has cultivated a beautiful lavender farm, now home to over 5,000 plants in six different varieties. Their passion for lavender blossomed after a trip to the Pacific Northwest, where they fell in love with the farm experience and decided to bring that magic to the Midwest. Today, Calyx Creek is not just a lavender farm—it’s a place where guests can immerse themselves in the peaceful beauty of nature, from picking lavender in the fields to staying in charming tree houses tucked among the trees.
Whether you’re visiting to relax in the stunning lavender fields, indulge in unique lavender-inspired treats, or stay overnight in one of their cozy accommodations, Calyx Creek offers an unforgettable experience that’s sure to delight all your senses. The Getting's are dedicated to creating an environment where guests can escape the everyday and discover the wonders of Iowa agriculture in a whole new way.
