Visit Iowa Farms is a signature program of the Farm, Food and Enterprise Development Program through Iowa State University Extension and Outreach. This program works with state agencies to educate Iowans on agritourism and provide resources to agritourism producers. We encourage all Iowa agritourism producers to list their destinations on our website; which serves as a search tool for agritourism destinations around the state.

Lucky Star Farm
Susan and Rich Young are the heart and hands behind Lucky Star Farm, a cozy 20-acre homestead located between Iowa City and Kalona. With a mix of Nigerian dwarf goats, ducks, llamas, chickens, and dairy goats, their farm is a vibrant blend of life and learning. What began as a private labor of love has grown into a welcoming agritourism destination—home to seasonal goat yoga, engaging farm tours, and two unique Airbnb stays, including a restored vintage camper named Betty. At Lucky Star, guests are invited to slow down, connect with the land, and experience the simple joys of farm life in Iowa. To learn more visit theluckystarfarm.com.
