Started in 2015, Grow:Johnson County is a hunger-relief and educational farm program located on the Johnson County Historic Poor Farm in Iowa City, Iowa. Sitting on five acres of farmland, we train growers through hands-on farming experiences for community members of all ages and backgrounds. All the produce grown on the farm is distributed to local hunger-relief agencies. Since the program began, Grow has donated over 100,000 pounds of fresh produce to hunger relief partners.
